Video Poker and Table Variants

At Leon Casino we include video poker as part of a lobby that holds over 4,500 titles from more than 70 providers. Canadian players can open poker variants on desktop or through our Android app. Classic formats sit next to newer versions, each with betting ranges that fit smaller and higher bankrolls.

When bonus funds are active, video poker counts 5% toward wagering requirements. This percentage is used for our welcome package of up to C$4,500 across three deposits, all with 35x wagering. Slots add 100% toward rollover, live casino 10%, so it usually makes sense to plan how you split your balance.

Games open straight in your browser, no plugin or extra software. On mobile you can install the Android app if you prefer smoother navigation. We accept CAD as the account currency, so there are no conversion fees on deposits or withdrawals. Payouts start from C$2, and in most cases we finish processing within 12 hours.

In the table games area you will find poker titles alongside Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and other RNG classics. Animations are kept at premium level and are optimized so that they run without visible lag. Limits generally start around C$0.5 and may exceed C$1,000 per hand on some tables. Every game shows its stakes before you join, so you see the range up front.

Live Dealer Poker Tables

Our live casino hosts poker tables from more than 17 studios, including Evolution, Ezugi and Vivo Gaming. Streams run around the clock with professional dealers at dedicated tables. Several rooms are live at the same time which keeps waiting times low.

Limits adjust with the table you pick: standard rooms typically begin at C$0.5 while VIP formats can go past C$1,000. You can filter the lobby by poker type, provider or stake level, then check seats and current player numbers before entering.

Live poker wagers count 10% toward bonus wagering, just as other live titles do. The same rate also covers game shows such as Mega Wheel, Crazy Time and Monopoly Live. Progress on wagering is displayed in your account promotions section, so you always see how much is left.

How to Start Playing

To open an account, go to leon.casino and click the registration button in the top-right corner. Fill in your email, create a password, choose your currency - for Canadian players we recommend CAD - and confirm. Then follow the link in the email to verify and sign in, after that move to the cashier.

A minimum first deposit of C$20 activates the welcome bonus. Once funds arrive, use the lobby search bar or filters to locate the poker section. Click the game thumbnail you want, adjust the bet size with the on-screen controls and you are ready to play.

Desktop users do not need to install anything, as our platform supports current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. On smartphones and tablets you can either use the responsive mobile site or install the Android app, both give access to the same poker library.

Bonuses and Wagering

Our welcome package is split into three deposits: 100% up to C$500 on the first, 70% up to C$1,000 on the second, and 150% up to C$3,000 on the third. Each step needs at least C$20 deposited and has 35x wagering on bonus plus deposit, to be completed within 30 days.

Video poker and table poker bets contribute 5% to wagering. So if you stake C$100 on poker, only C$5 will count toward the rollover total. Players who want to clear bonuses quicker usually move more action to slots at 100%, or combine poker and slots according to their own style.

Our loyalty program grants 1 point for every C$3.50 wagered on slots. Poker follows the same 5% structure that is used for bonuses, so the effective rate for points is lower and adjusts in line with this contribution. Once you hit 100 points you can convert them into C$1, which appears as withdrawable cash in the loyalty section.

On weekends we also run sports bonuses of 50% up to C$500 with 10x wagering in 72 hours. These promotions do not apply directly to casino poker but they are available on the same balance if you bet on sports. One account connects casino and sportsbook, there is no need to switch profiles.

Leon Casino operates through regional entities including Jade Reef Ventures Corp., Belize, and Covimal Limited, Cyprus, as part of its international structure.

Mobile Poker on Android

Our Android app gives full access to video poker, RNG poker tables and live dealer rooms. The file is distributed from our website because real-money gambling apps are restricted in Google Play for most regions.

To install, open leon.casino from your mobile browser and move to the app download page. Allow installations from unknown sources in your device settings if needed, then download the APK and open it to complete setup. After that, launch the app and log in with your Leon Casino details or register there.

The app repeats all desktop functions with touch-friendly controls. You can rotate the device between portrait and landscape, the interface repositions itself on both smaller phones and larger tablets. Live streams keep their quality with automatic resolution changes when your connection speed goes up or down. For some RNG titles background play is available, but live poker tables need the screen to stay active.

Loyalty Points from Poker

Our loyalty program counts wagering from poker, casino games and sports into a single balance. Poker uses the same 5% contribution that applies to bonus rollover, so C$100 staked in poker is treated as the equivalent of C$5 in slots for point purposes. Slots give 1 point for each C$3.50 of direct stakes.

Points appear in your dashboard in a dedicated loyalty field. At any time you can convert 100 points into C$1 and there is no minimum batch size beyond that. Converted amounts move straight to your cash balance and are not locked by extra wagering.

Sports betting is tracked at 1 point per C$1 of net win or loss. By mixing poker sessions with casino spins and sports tickets, players can grow their total a bit faster. We keep the rewards structure unified so you do not have to think about product-specific wallets.

Game Providers and Platform Standards

We cooperate with more than 70 studios, including Amigo Gaming, BGaming, Belatra, Pragmatic Play, Evolution and Vivo Gaming. Video poker comes from several providers and uses different graphic styles, sound and paytable layouts. In the lobby, you can filter by provider name if you prefer a specific catalog.

Evolution and Ezugi deliver most of our live dealer poker and other live tables. Their studios operate from regulated jurisdictions with real-time streaming, multiple camera views, in-game chat and bet history panels. This setup follows what is generally accepted in the market for live casino products.

On the video poker side, Pragmatic Play and BGaming offer versions with bonus elements or light progressive mechanics. Every title includes an information section where you can check the paytable and RTP figure before playing.

We do not run any in-house poker software. All games come from external suppliers that pass independent testing, in line with our Curacao and Kahnawake licensing, which require audits by approved labs.

Account Tools, Support and Limits

In your account settings you can shape how you interact with Leon Casino poker and other products. Deposit limits, play-time reminders and self-exclusion are available and affect casino, live tables and sports together.

1. Deposit limits: set daily, weekly or monthly caps. When you increase a limit, a 24-hour cooling-off period applies, while reductions are implemented straight away.
2. Session reminders: choose a time interval in 30-minute steps, we then show a pop-up during play. It does not log you out, it just signals how long you have been on site.
3. Self-exclusion: options go from 24 hours up to a permanent block. You can start this in the responsible gaming area and confirm by email. Temporary bans end automatically, permanent ones may be reviewed only after contacting support at [email protected].

For assistance we provide live chat and email. Live chat is available 24/7 through the icon at the bottom-right of the site and inside the app, where our team replies to questions about poker rules, bonus terms, account access or technical glitches. Email can be sent to [email protected], with typical responses in roughly 12-24 hours. You may attach screenshots or documents to speed up checks.

Our operations run under a Curacao license (which may be provisional or updated under the current LOK framework) and a Kahnawake license. Kahnawake Gaming Commission licenses and regulates specific types of gaming activities and requires compliance with standards for software, RNG and payout ratios. License information is displayed in the footer, and access is geo-restricted for some locations, although most Canadian provinces can use the full lobby after registration with a valid postal code.

Under the new Curaçao LOK law (2024), only legal entities established under Curaçao law with a statutory seat in Curaçao are eligible for an online gaming license, which also requires substantial AML and economic substance compliance. The registered address for Leon Curacao N.V. is Schout Bij Nacht Doormanweg 40, Willemstad, Curaçao.

Betting limits on poker stay transparent. Video poker lets you change coin values from around C$0.10 up to C$100 per hand, with paytables adjusting to match. RNG table poker uses fixed stake ranges, most starting at about C$1 and going up to C$500. Live dealer poker offers the widest spread, from C$0.5 upwards into four-figure VIP territory, with no extra fees on larger bets and a constant house edge across all limits.
